Salary: $100,000- $150,000/year

We are seeking a driven and collaborative Junior Legal Counsel to join a dynamic legal team in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your legal career while working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the entire process.

  • Provide strategic legal guidance to internal business partners across various functions.

  • Support compliance, corporate governance, and risk management initiatives to protect and enhance business operations.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align business objectives with contractual terms.

  • Maintain and improve contract management systems, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and retrieval.

  • Monitor contract performance, recommend amendments or renewals, and ensure ongoing compliance with legal and business obligations.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in legal processes and operational efficiency.

  • Support litigation management and dispute resolution, and assist with developing risk mitigation strategies.

What we’re looking for:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial contract law — corporate or manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.

  • Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and corporate governance.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.

  • A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.

  • Experience in litigation and dispute resolution is a plus.
