We are seeking a driven and collaborative Junior Legal Counsel to join a dynamic legal team in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your legal career while working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What you’ll do:
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the entire process.
Provide strategic legal guidance to internal business partners across various functions.
Support compliance, corporate governance, and risk management initiatives to protect and enhance business operations.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align business objectives with contractual terms.
Maintain and improve contract management systems, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and retrieval.
Monitor contract performance, recommend amendments or renewals, and ensure ongoing compliance with legal and business obligations.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in legal processes and operational efficiency.
Support litigation management and dispute resolution, and assist with developing risk mitigation strategies.

What we’re looking for:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
5+ years of experience in commercial contract law — corporate or manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.
Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and corporate governance.
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong business acumen and ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.
Experience in litigation and dispute resolution is a plus.
