Job Description
Overview
Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys variety in your work and takes pride in helping customers keep their equipment running smoothly? We’re looking for a dependable, technically inclined Field Service Technician to join our growing support team. In this role, you'll work on-site with customers across the U.S., helping them install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial equipment used in everyday industries like food & beverage, and manufacturing.
This is a great opportunity for someone who likes a balance of mechanical and electrical work, enjoys traveling to different locations, and takes ownership of solving problems in the field.
What You’ll Do
Travel to customer locations to install and maintain equipment (with advanced notice and company-covered travel expenses).
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical, electrical, or control systems—training provided for company-specific technologies.
Guide customers through basic system operations, and answer questions about usage or maintenance.
Document service work and communicate updates to internal teams and customers.
Occasionally support customers by phone or video when on-site work isn’t needed.
Coordinate parts, tools, and timing to ensure site visits are well prepared and efficient.
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems (military, automotive, manufacturing, HVAC, etc.).
Strong problem-solving mindset—someone who stays calm and solutions-focused when things don’t go as planned.
Comfortable reading diagrams and using hand tools (you don’t have to be an engineer to succeed here).
Good communicator who works well with all types of people—especially in customer-facing environments.
Willingness to travel to customer sites - typically pre-planned travel for equipment installations.
Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation, especially under pressure.
