Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Team Lead to oversee and support a team of Benefit Verification Specialists during a high-volume seasonal project. This is a contract role running from November through February, requiring a balance of leadership and individual contributor responsibilities. The Team Lead will provide day-to-day coaching, monitor performance, ensure quality standards are met, and assist with training initiatives while also completing benefit reverification tasks directly.

The Team Lead will provide day-to-day coaching, monitor performance, ensure quality standards are met, and assist with training initiatives while also completing benefit reverification tasks directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily guidance and coaching to team members processing benefit investigations.
- Monitor task-specific job performance to ensure accuracy, productivity, and compliance with service level requirements.
- Resolve issues and escalate concerns following prescribed protocols.
- Assist with training initiatives and development of program training materials.
- Conduct performance monitoring and report on team progress.
- Support benefit reverification work as an individual contributor when needed.
- Maintain open communication with staff and management to address program challenges.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership and/or training experience in a remote call center environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a multi-hub call center.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with specialty pharmacies.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on inbound and outbound benefit verification and investigation experience.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Local to the Dallas, TX (within driving distance).
- Must be able to work 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST for training.
- Must have full availability for shifts between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday during the assignment.
- No pre-planned vacations permitted during the contract period (November–February).
- Some weekend work may be required based on business needs.
- May require completion of online training outside standard hours.
