Overview

A Fortune 500 organization is seeking an experienced Contract Compliance Lead to establish and operationalize a new process within its Procurement and Sourcing Enablement function. This role will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of a contract-to-PO compliance process using SAP Ariba, ensuring tighter integration, visibility, and governance across sourcing and procurement activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Ariba configuration and process design, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable, automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Process Design & Implementation

• Lead the creation and rollout of a new contract compliance framework.

• Engineer workflows to ensure all purchase orders (POs) are systematically tied to contracts.

• Develop and document end-to-end processes spanning sourcing, contracting, and procurement.

SAP Ariba Expertise

• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP Ariba (Contracts, Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing).

• Configure, test, and enhance Ariba modules to support compliance objectives.

• Collaborate with integration and IT teams to maintain seamless data flow.

Supplier Master Management

• Design and manage the Supplier Master structure supporting contract hierarchy and sourcing strategy.

• Ensure accuracy and alignment of supplier data with contractual terms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Procurement, Contract Management, and Enabling Capabilities teams to align compliance goals with business needs.

• Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Reporting & Monitoring

• Develop dashboards and analytics to monitor compliance, efficiency, and supplier performance.

• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations for continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing and leading SAP Ariba contract compliance processes.

• Deep expertise with SAP Ariba Contracts, Sourcing, and Buying & Invoicing modules.

• Experience designing and maintaining Supplier Master data structures.

• Strong understanding of sourcing, contracting, and procurement operations.

• Demonstrated ability to design new processes and drive adoption across cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Preferred: Experience in direct sourcing environments within large or complex organizations.
