Workday Workday Consultant (HRIS)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-month contract (possibilities of extension, or conversion)

We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to join our Human Capital team on a 1-year contract. This role will support system-related initiatives and ongoing administration of the firm’s HR technology, including Workday, Greenhouse, and other HR tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday configurations, system upgrades, reporting, and integrations, and will be comfortable collaborating across HR functions to deliver solutions that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for Workday HCM, benefits, absence, reporting, and related HR systems.

  • Maintain system-related aspects of Human Capital processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Assist with configuration changes, system upgrades, integrations, and scheduled audits.

  • Partner on new system implementations and functionality enhancements, from requirements gathering to testing.

  • Develop and maintain training materials; support user adoption and resolve system inquiries.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of HRIS/Workday experience, including configuration, testing, and maintenance.

  • Strong background in HR technology implementation and operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with HR systems such as Greenhouse.

  • Understanding of HR compliance requirements and industry best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Consulting experience is a plus.
