Job Description
As a Field Service Technician – Pump, you'll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of dryers and pumps. Every day, you can improve and challenge yourself, and with ambition, you have the potential to advance to higher-level Technician roles. You will also provide exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do:
Perform safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex equipment involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of equipment; maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed
Maintain accurate paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining dryers and pumps of various sizes, capacities, and manufacturers
Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines
Must own tools applicable to the position
Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
