Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Austin, TX 78750 (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)
Duration: 06 months (possible extension)

About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a highly collaborative team responsible for building a cloud-native platform. This role sits within a larger enterprise application organization and involves close collaboration with delivery partners including Cognizant, Capgemini, and Infosys.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with deep experience in Java and cloud-native development, capable of operating independently, owning deliverables end-to-end, and mentoring mid-level engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Integrate with IBM EPM and Camunda to support business process workflows.
• Build, deploy, and manage applications on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners to deliver business-critical functionality.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to secure development practices, and optimize performance.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Stay current with emerging tools and technologies to support platform modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: 6–8 years of hands-on enterprise Java development (financial services experience preferred).
