Pay Rate: $27–$32/hour (W2)
Location: Onsite – Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: 3–4 evenings per week, typically Tuesday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Field Technician to support evening switch installation and replacement projects. This role requires strong hands-on networking expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Aruba and Arista switches, as well as a solid understanding of cabling and power requirements to ensure smooth, reliable network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-site assessments to prepare for switch installations and replacements.

• Replace existing network switches (Aruba and Arista – no net-new deployments).

• Verify cabling and power to ensure readiness and compliance with standards.

• Install, configure, and test switches for proper functionality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including diagrams and installation reports.

• Communicate progress, issues, and recommendations with internal teams.

• Follow safety and quality standards throughout all work.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on networking experience, specifically with Aruba and Arista switches.

• Proven experience with switch replacements and upgrades.

• Strong knowledge of network cabling standards and power requirements.

• Skilled at troubleshooting connectivity and hardware issues.

• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM – 2 AM), 3–4 nights per week.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with structured cabling assessments and optimization.

• Familiarity with network design/topology documentation.

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Aruba Certified Switching Associate, or similar.
