Position Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a forward-thinking, technology-driven team. This role is deeply hands-on, focused on building and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure and automation tools, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python development.
  • As part of a dynamic engineering team of 11 members across the U.S. and India, you will collaborate with cloud architects and business units to design, deploy, and maintain highly available infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical chops, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for automation and cloud-native technologies.
 
Work Environment
  • This role is on-site 5 days a week in Midtown Atlanta
  • Includes 40 remote workdays annually
  • The office will relocate to the King & Queen Buildings (Concourse area) in July 2025
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cloud architects to design, test, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Build and maintain automation scripts and tooling using Python
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Work closely with Security, Development, and Business Units to deliver robust, scalable solutions
  • Troubleshoot complex production and environment issues
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in DevOps practices, deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems
  • Support production escalations and ensure system availability and performance
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes: deployment, scaling, and optimization
  • Solid experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Proficient in Python scripting for automation and tooling
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking: VPCs, firewalls, ingress/egress, CDN
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Dynatrace
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitOps, and tools such as Maven, GCC, or Make
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
 
Nice to Have
  • Background in Java development or Java-based applications
  • Experience with cloud migrations (AWS or GCP)
  • Familiarity with container build pipelines and registries
  • Exposure to DevOps security and compliance best practices
