Position Detail:
Job Title: Financial Call Centre Reperesentative
Location - Hartford, CT 06103 (Hybrid - Mon to Thurs onsite/Friday remote)
Duration - 12-month contract (potential to convert FTE)
Payrate - $24/hr on W2

Job Description:
This role is responsible for managing the flow of workplace activities, optimizing day-to-day operations, and ensuring alignment between business processes and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with multiple administrative systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct underwriting interviews via inbound/outbound calls
  • Review initial intake of underwriting cases and medical questionnaires
  • Verify HIPAA authorization forms and ensure paperwork completeness
  • Perform cognitive screening interviews for clients over 7 years old
  • Process cases to next steps and send decision letters
  • Communicate decisions to clients, financial professionals, and sales team
Qualifications:
  • Most Important: Call centre experience
  • Preferred: Underwriting experience (especially in life insurance/annuities)
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent work experience in business operations, administration, or a related field).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple administrative systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, and HTML is strongly preferred.
