Job Title: Computer Technician/ Desktop Support
Pay - $23/hr
Contract - 12+ Months contract to hire role
Location - Framingham MA, 01701
Job Summary:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and devices. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service to ensure systems operate effectively. Technicians at this level draw on their experience and judgment to plan tasks and achieve goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
Document, upgrade, or replace hardware and software as needed.
Manage and support user accounts, including access rights, security, and group configurations.
Diagnose product failures, perform repairs, order and replace parts, and train employees as required.
Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
Required Skills:
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with creativity and flexibility.
Education & Experience:
Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
5–7 years of relevant technical experience.
