They blend in, often unnoticed. The company has decided (probably) that you are valuable to the organization, but they need some time to find the <em>right<\/em> opportunity for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">So, what can <em>you<\/em> do in these situations? Consider yourself as a ship in harbor.<br>Ships in harbor will take on provisions and make repairs while the crew takes rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Ships also seek out harbors to weather storms. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-116741_df6198-71\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">However, ships are designed for the seas, not the harbor. They are meant for the journey, not the shelter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">I think you can do the same for your career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-116741_283d28-29\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-central-palette-3-color has-text-color has-link-color eplus-wrapper wp-elements-74006a7fd7dbfd39deca0c9a34b10f20\">Take Stock of Where You Are<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-116741_0b44fa-81\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">What inspires you? Exhausts you? What do you want to do more of? Less of?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The harbor will give you the space to consider these questions amid career challenges&#8230;<br><br>Do you still align with the culture of the company? Believe in the mission and vision? Has the company changed? Have <em>you<\/em> changed?<br><br>The harbor offers space and time for this reflection.
